Bibliography ‘Medicine during National Socialism’

Under the direction of Professor Dr Robert Jütte, an expert commission of four is working on an outline of all research done so far on the history of medicine during National Socialism which is due for publication by the end of 2010. It is planned as a guide with commentary through the almost overwhelming wealth of literature available, which roughly retraces the paths of research while also pointing out its milestones and remaining desiderata. It does not aim at completeness, but wants to be a guide for future research work in the field. The geographic perimeters also include Austria (after 1938). The planned book is commissioned by the German chamber of physicians (Bundesärztekammer BÄK) whose president, Professor Dr Jörg-Heinrich Hoppe, will present it to the wider public at a commemorative event.
