The Archive
Since 2020, the Institute for the History of Medicine, headed by Dr. Marion Baschin, has served as the central archive for the Robert Bosch Foundation (RBSG) and its institutions. The archive can be divided into three sub-archives. The first is the IGM's homeopathy archive, the second is the Robert Bosch Foundation archive, and the third is the Robert Bosch Hospital archive. The Homeopathy Archive preserves the estate of Samuel Hahnemann, his second wife Mélanie, née d'Hervilly, and important students and successors, in particular Clemens and Friedrich von Bönninghausen. The foundation's archive manages the historical documents of the foundation itself, which have been systematically recorded and collected by the IGM since 1991 and continue to be so today. Due to various circumstances, only a few historical documents of the RBK have been preserved since 1992. The remaining written records of the hospital have been systematically recorded and collected by the IGM.
